SO TRUMP ISN'T RACIST, HUH?

President Andrew Jackson was the Godfather of the Confederacy.

He was one of the most powerful slaveholders in the United States, at one time owning 300 slaves. Any runaway slaves were brutally beaten. One of Jackson's runaway slaves, called Gilbert, was captured and died during his beating. And Jackson loved slavery that much that he organised a raid on Negro Fort to capture and return to their 'rightful owners' slaves who had run away and found sanctuary with the Seminoles. However, the officer commanding the raid fired a cannonball into the fort's arsenal and blew up the fort killing 300 men, women and children.

It was Jackson who began the forced removal of native Americans from states like Georgia and Mississippi which led to wealthy planters buying their ancestral lands and building plantations to be worked by slaves.

And by destroying the Second Bank of the United States, Jackson condemned the southern states to a reliance on slave labour.

Thus Jackson was the Godfather of the Confederacy.

So what was one of the first acts that Bomber Trump did after his inauguration?

Yep.

He hung a portrait of Jackson in The Oval Office. It hangs almost behind Trump, watching over everything Trump does.

And not only that, Trump visited Jackson's plantation The Hermitage and saluted the corpse of Jackson.

Oh, and Trump also installed a bust of Winston Churchill in The Oval Office.

Apparently Trump admires these two imperialist white supremacists bigly.
