MI5 BLOCKED PROSECUTIONS OF ANJEM CHOUDARY

Now why would MI5 block prosecutions of Choudary?

Because they needed people like him to produce unwitting Jihadis for the proxy wars in Iraq and Syria.

A similar thing happened to the killer of Lee Rigby. Michael Adebalajo was a known criminal, dealing drugs. But he was allowed to preach Jihad against President Bashar al Assad on the streets of London for weeks, before he radicalised himself that much that he killed Rigby.

This has been our foreign policy for decades. London has been Terrorist HQ for decades, and there was a Covenant of Security between British Intelligence and the terrorists that they could reside in safety in London and attack wherever they wanted (or were ordered) but those attacks had to coincide with British foreign policy.
